DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 2, 2023) – Progressive American Flat Track revives Daytona Bike Week tradition with the 2023 season opener returning to the Flat Track at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday, March 9 and Friday, March 10, 2023. The DAYTONA Short Track will feature two back-to-back nights of bar-banging racing under the lights at one of the most iconic racing arenas in the history of the sport.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – (May 4, 2022) – The Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), whose mission is attracting visitors to the destination, is celebrating 2022 National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) on May 1-7 by recognizing area businesses and attractions with the inaugural Visitors’ Choice Awards. NTTW was established by congressional resolution 39 years ago to celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of the travel industry.

Meeting Notice: Bike Week/Biketoberfest® Master Plan Guidelines Changes Review Meeting This meeting will take place Monday, November 30, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ocean Center, 101 North Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. Room: TBD The meeting is open to the public; however, due to public safety concerns regarding the coronavirus, anyone exhibiting signs of illness (such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath) should not attend the meeting. The meeting's attendance will be limited to 50 people.

This year's builder of the 2019 Official Bike Week Motorcycle is award winning Brian Klock and his team at Klock Werks Kustom Cycles in Mitchell South Dakota.
The team is running 100 mph on the bike build and are scheduled to photograph the finished bike Jan 3rd, 2019. We will post finished photos as soon as they are ready.

John Michael Washe won the "2019 Official Bike Week Logo Creation Contest". We recognize John's as the official logo creator in both print and on-line. Congrats John!
Mathew Hintz, the Official Artist of Daytona Bike Week, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41 on December 24, leaving a wife and four children ages 6 – 13. His 2018 Daytona Bike Week painting was the last piece of artwork he completed before his death. Mathew Hintz spent more than 20 years of his life perfecting his craft, which graced the posters for the 74th, 75th, and 76th anniversaries of Bike Week making this year’s poster the fourth and final in a series of amazing work. Be sure to pick up your limited-edition collector poster at the Official Welcome Center on Beach Street.

Daytona International Speedway is proud to announce that American Flat Track will debut its 2017 season inside the “World Center of Racing” on a one-of-a-kind .6-mile TT course. The DAYTONA TT, scheduled on the evening of Thursday, March 16, will feature powerful, twin-cylinder motorcycles in the AFT Twins class, while spirited single-cylinder machines will battle it out in AFT Singles.

The Florida Scenic Highways Program was established to showcase the outstanding cultural, historic, archaeological, recreational, natural and scenic resources that can be found along Florida's highway system.
Perhaps it was the appeal of hard sand, warm winter days and the excitement of that first motorcycle race on the beach, that made Daytona Beach the home of Bike Week. Maybe it was the spirited activities surrounding the event that have kept people keep coming back.
It's like no other ride. It's freedom, sunshine, open road and graceful curves. It's called the Loop and for motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere, it's a riders dream.
